Before Christmas, students were asked to donate goods to be made into hampers for the elderly and vulnerable in our local community. These were then delivered by Mrs Cunliffe and her helpers. The daughter of one of the recipients of a hamper has been in touch to thank the school for the hamper:

Hi,

I am writing on behalf of my father Mr Taylor.

Thank you very much for the food hamper that was delivered to him on Tuesday (18/12/12).  He is absolutely delighted with its contents and the fact that the children took the trouble to give it to him and wish him a Merry Christmas.

Dad will be 90 years old on the 11th April and this has made his Christmas very, very special.

Once again thank you so much.

Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.

Mrs Shelley Taylor-Morritt

As always, we are delighted to help our local community, and thank students and parents for their donations to assist in this.
