Students from Yr 10/11 went on a taster day to Blackburn College. We had a full day there. Students did all different hands on tasks such as making custards, car spray painting, doing nails and hair and even having a go with the interactive babies. Some of our students were put through their paces in the sports department.
Taster days are an important part of the students’ experience as they have a hands-on approach to the college environment. I try and organise the taster days for the different colleges and training providers.
