As part of the Year 9 topic “Fantastic Places” the Geography Department is organising another visit to White Scar Caves and Settle in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The trip will take place on Wednesday 14th Decemeber and cost £6.

White Scar Caves are the longest show caves in Britain and students can see features such as the “Witches Fingers” and “Devil’s Tongue”, as well as underground waterfalls, prehistoric mudpools and the huge Battlefield Cavern which is home to thousands of stalactites! This trip is always very popular and places are limited (places are allocated on a first come basis) so you need to return your permission slip and money to either myself or Mr. Barnes ASAP!
