Learning another language can enhance your employment prospects. It is essential that we learn other languages in order to understand the world in which we live in. All students study Spanish at KS3 with the opportunity to study Spanish at KS4.

Introduction to Spanish. Me, myself and I – learning to introduce ourselves. School – giving opinions and introduction to grammar. Family – describing your family and yourself. Describing what you look like. |
At home – describing where you live. Free time – giving opinions and discussing free time activities. In town – what is your town like, building longer sentences. |

Key stage 4 – Year 10 and 11 Students will sit 4 exams at the end of year 11- speaking, listening, reading and writing. Each of these are worth 25% of the final grade. The exams are split into 3 themes. |

Theme 1 – Identity and Culture | Theme 2 – Local, National, International and Global areas of interest. | Theme 3 – Current and Future study and Employment. |
