Congratulations to our budding chefs who’ve done an excellent job over the first two rounds of Rhyddings Masterchef 2018! Mrs Neary, Mrs Neafcy and Mrs Bell were very impressed with the contestants’ skills during the steak challenge, and found it so hard to split the students that they all went through to round two. Special mention goes to Henry Pemberton, who had gone home earlier in the day due to an injury to his arm, and still managed to cook his steak at home!

The second round was a biscuit challenge, with everything from chocolate chip cookies to butter whirls and  even an orange and ginger stained glass biscuit! Judging was again difficult, and Mrs Neary, Mrs Neafcy, Mrs Bell and Miss Bedwell were left with tough decisions about who to put through to the quarter finals next week. Congratulations to all who took part, and to those who got through:

Christian Eccles
Ella Whalen
Henry Pemberton
Ashleigh Sandham
Kaitlin Morton
Nicole Gregson
Owen Woodman
Arij Shafi
Mary Eaves

The quarter finals are next Monday – details will be emailed to all contestants.

Well done!
