Last week all Year 7 students attempted to complete their expedition to the top of Pendle Hill. We are very proud of the positive spirit shown by our students who were kind, encouraging and demonstrated resilience as they didn’t give up!
We are pleased to say that two groups successfully made it to the top of Pendle Hill – a huge well done to those students! However, it was the poor weather conditions and not the students that were to blame for the group who didn’t make it to the top. They did however very much appreciate the hot chocolates at the end of the expedition (or ice-cream if they were feeling particularly brave!)
Both Mr Barnes and myself have had a fantastic week with some fantastic Geographers and we are looking forward to seeing the completed project work from the students about the Pendle Hill expedition!
