ajmalfaiziFormer Rhyddings student Ajmal Faizy is hoping to become one of Britain’s top boxers – and wants to dedicate any future titles to Britain – the country that took him in as a refugee.

Ajmal, who came to us from Afghanistan in 2009 after the Taliban murdered his father, is now 20 and currently in training for his eighth professional fight against Danny Carter in Manchester.

We would like to wish Ajmal all the best in his boxing career and hope that he makes it six wins out of out on June 20th.
