Just before half term Year 9 students visited White Scar Caves and Settle in the Yorkshire Dales National Park as part of the Year 9 topic “Fantastic Places”. White Scar Caves are the longest show caves in Britain and as you can see from the photos students saw features such as the “Witches Fingers” and “Devil’s Tongue”, as well as underground waterfalls, prehistoric mudpools and the huge Battlefield Cavern which is home to thousands of stalactites!
