Last October Keturah Bradley (9RR) finished 8th out of 90 runners in the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Cross Country Championships, meaning she qualified to represent the borough at Lancashire Schools which took place on Saturday 7th February.
Lancashire Schools Cross Country is a very prestigious event in the athletics calendar and the competition is very tough. Keturah completed the very demanding course, finishing mid-table, overtaking several competitors up the famous ‘saucer’ hill and on the home straight. This competition is run by many club runners who are very talented in the sport, and Keturah really shone as an athlete. A tremendous effort and many congratulations on completing such a difficult course, well done Keturah!
