This week is Climate Week 2013. It is Britain’s biggest climate change campaign. In your Geography lessons this week you will be spending some time looking at the impacts of climate change and how we can do our bit to protect our planet and create a secure future.
Your global footprint is just one way of measuring how your lifestyle can impact our planet.
This week the Geography department is running a competition to find out who has the smallest global footprint in the school! All you have to do is click on the link.
You need to create a username and use “Rhyddings” when you are asked for the name of your school. Complete the questions and then email either myself (email@example.com), Mr. Barnes (firstname.lastname@example.org) or your Geography teacher your results!
The competition deadline is Wednesday March 13th. The 3 students with the lowest footprints will be selected and receive a prize! We are also looking to see which members of staff have the smallest footprint too!
