On Saturday 23rd June the Olympic Torch will be passing through Oswaldtwistle. It has been lit for 36 days and will be in this area for this day only. It is an opportunity not to be missed.

The torch will be carried past the Civic Centre around 10.20am. There will be a band playing throughout and lots of activities at the Civic Centre. There will also be refreshments, arts, crafts and performances.

There are 16 torch bearers for the Accrington area, one of which is past student, Matt Jenneys. So come and show your support, wave your GBR flags and don’t miss out on local history in the making!
