Tuesday was the night of the Prom Fashion Show. Lots of students and a few staff took part in modelling the suits, prom dresses and casual fashion. It was a very successful evening once again, and lots of money was raised for Derian House.
Last Friday several year 8 students went on a mini-expedition to Pendle Hill as part of their Elective Learning class. This was followed on the weekend by members of the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award group taking part in a challenging expedition. This consisted of two days walking and one night spent in a tent. Participants were required to carry all of their belongings in a rucksack for the duration of the expedition.
Well done to all students who have taken part in extra-curricular activities in the past week. There are lots of other activities going on – plenty of different things for students to get involved in!
